Like most other organisations, SPC has built up ad hoc information processes based on evolving technology resources and changing executive priorities.
Some of these historic processes may delay information release. For example, a link from the SPC front page to its news section is headlined September 2005 nearly seven months ago. One section features text a little too darkto be readily readable. Other sections appear to be in a technicalformat not consistent with rest of the SPC website. A link on the bureau page leads to a hidden forum, even from an internal SPC-based computer.
One impression is that SPCs website appears built to technology and corporate priorities, rather than those of information.
